• Sensible Planting Strategies and Management Practices:
  “Right plant in the right place” plant selection; consider the “gardenworthiness” of each plant.
• Design with maintenance in mind: consider existing soils and exposure and work as much as possible with what you already have. This approach is much easier and also reduces water and energy inputs.
• Above all, please don’t plant invasive species that require huge inputs of resources to control.
